Proprietary Enzyme Binder

Wet Organic Waste Matter

Conventional charcoal kilns, drying of feedstock to 15% moisture content is necessary before carbonization, the K2 Process is able to carbonize wet waste e.g. organic waste matter of up to 90% moisture content.

Charcoal produced by the Binder

Conversion into carbon under aerobic condition is made possible with the use of proprietary enzyme binder.

Poisonous Dioxins

Process mixed wet municipal waste by solidifying or carbonizing it for landfill disposal. The process eliminates poisonous dioxins emitted during plastic processing, making it a more cost-effective option than traditional treatment plants. The process carbonizes toxic medical waste safely without any need for manual handling, and it can be completed within 20 minutes, depending on the moisture content of the raw materials.

Black Gold

At the American Chemical Society meeting, scientists presented a study on black gold agriculture, an ancient practice of adding charcoal to soil to improve crop yield and capture carbon from the air. The practice has potential to combat global warming by restoring poor quality soil stripped of nutrients from over-farming and chemical fertilizers. By adding charcoal, the soil retains nutrients and produces more crops.
